This is the story of a sinister character, a man who embodies the darkest aspects of the human condition: deliberate abuse, conscious crime, moral degradation made flesh. Beside him, like a distorted mirror of his own corruption, is his inseparable companion, a dog whose grotesquely exaggerated behavior serves as a symbol of absurdity taken to the extreme.
Together they form a couple that mixes the pathetic with the monstrous, a satirical portrait of human perversion and hypocrisy.
One day, they both observe with feigned solemnity a repugnant piece of news, a reflection of their own shadows, and in an almost theatrical gesture—a moral farce—they promise each other to change, swearing aloud a reform that is born not of repentance, but of fear and imposture.
Thus, the scene becomes a dramatic parable of corruption that seeks redemption with empty words, a grotesque representation of evil disguised as promise.
