About Victor Corleone


 

Born in Mexico City in 1970. Designer, draftsman, painter, sculptor and Body-Paint artist. In his professional career, he has 13 individual exhibitions, 36 collective exhibitions, 17 Body-Paints, 1 auction and 8 recognitions. His work has been exhibited mainly in national and international galleries and museums in the countries of Mexico, Chile, Spain and Germany. In 1990 The Coca-Cola Export Corporation, in Atlanta, USA, was awarded first place in the "Pemberton Trophy" design contest. In 1996 he worked at the McCANN-ERICKSON advertising agency for the Coca-Cola and Disney accounts. From 1998 to 2004 he held the position of quality control manager in color printing and photographic retouching in editorial media "Grupo Reforma". In July 2016 the German government prepared a great exhibition of his sculptures in Hamburg "Stadtbücherei Elmshorn, Carl von Ossietzky". From April to September 2017 (6 months) he presents the exhibition-project "Reinterpreting Cuevas" at the Museum of the City of Querétaro, an exhibition that is officially the last living tribute that was paid to Mtro. José Luis Cuevas. In October 2019 he is part of the jury in the *8th RODIN-ROYAL TALENS-HAHNEMÜHLE National Artistic Painting Contest *. From 2006 to date, he continues to exhibit and parallel the profession of a professor of plastic arts.
